Albuquerque Area Information
Albuquerque is the largest city in New Mexico, located in the middle of the state, at the crossroads of two of the nations largest interstates. The city’s metropolitan area has a population of 887,077. “The Albuquerque metro area is largely situated in the Rio Grande Valley and on the mesas and piedmont slopes rising on either side of the valley floor. The Sandia and Manzano mountains rise abruptly from the eastern edge of the city with Tijeras Canyon separating the two ranges.”(source)
Albuquerque has easy access to a growing modern downtown, shopping, and an excellent historic district with shops, restaurants, and entertainment venues. Albuquerque has become a hub for craft breweries, new homes, residents have their choice from over 30 breweries in town, many with national recognition.
